Foil plus Plastic = Interesting

After finally getting the barra lures ready for painting (went a little crazy and made 20, oops), decided to try one more thing before heading to the paint booth. I have a couple plastic lures which have proved very good on the barra in the past and after discussing with the old man, decided to see how the foil looks on them. Interesting result, I think these are going to be perfect when they are done.

 

Finished a couple nudes...

Knocked out a couple nude lures, one for the kit and the other for a fellow aussie lure maker. Fairly happy with the result bar the eye's, didnt turn out as well as I had hoped. Tried something different with these ones, dont think I will be trying it again. Anyway, to the pics,

Lures are shallow divers, about 45mm, floaters and made from cedar. Just love the nudes.

A nice little Surprise...

Recieved a nice little surprise in the mail yesterday. Beautiful little lure from another Aussie maker. Just a stunning little thing. Eyes on this one are virtually perfect. Lure is a semi-nude, thru wired with green and red accent's. The picture doesnt do them justice. Anyway, to the pics,
